Salary Table No. 2020-SL/ST<br />Rates of Basic Pay for Employees in Senior-Level (SL) and Scientific or Professional (ST) Positions<br />Effective January 2020 Section 749 of division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020, continues a freeze on the payable rates of pay for certain senior political officials through January 2, 2021. Under the pay freeze, the 2020 maximum payable rates for freeze-covered SL employees are as follows: EX-II: $183,100 (for SL employees covered by a certified performance appraisal system) and EX-III: $168,400 (for SL employees not covered by a certified performance appraisal system).
